Privacy notice: founder beta sign-up

What we collect when you sign up

When you sign up as a beta Host, we store:

We also keep the time you signed up and that you signed up through this form.

We don't ask for, and you shouldn't send us, your child's name, date of birth or photos, or your home address.

Who we are

The controller of your details is yallvue Ltd, London. Questions about your details go to the deletion address below.

Where it's stored

Your sign-up details are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in London, United Kingdom (AWS region eu-west-2). This notice covers only the beta sign-up form.

Why we use it

The legal basis is your consent (you tick the box to submit), and our legitimate interest in running the beta. You can withdraw consent at any time by asking us to delete your details (below).

Who sees it

Only the Yallvue team running the beta. We don't sell your details and we don't use them for advertising. The database provider, Supabase, hosts the data for us under its contract with us.

How long we keep it

If you became a beta Host, we keep your sign-up details until you ask us to delete them, or for 12 months after your party, whichever comes first. If you did not become a beta Host, we delete your sign-up when the beta ends.

Your rights and how to ask for deletion

You can ask us to:

To do any of these, email cancel@yallvue.com from the email address you signed up with. Put "delete my beta sign-up" in the subject line. We delete your details and confirm by email. This is a manual process: it can take up to one month, and we reply within that time.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We would like the chance to fix the problem first.

Changes

If we change how we use your details, we will tell you by email before the change takes effect.
